Dr. Björn Kruse LL.M.

EXPERTISE

Björn advises and represents corporates and individuals as a Bar-Certified Specialist for Criminal Law.

Prior to co-founding ARKTIK Legal, he worked for one of Germany’s leading boutiques in Criminal Law in Frankfurt am Main.

Björn has significant experience in Commercial Criminal Law related to Criminal Tax Law, Environmental Criminal Law, Labour Criminal Law and also in the areas corruption, fraud, money laundering and embargo and sanction violations.

He also assists corporate and individual clients in the context of enforcement actions, e. g. dawn raids, arrests or interrogations, by investigation authorities and also at public trials and hearings.

Furthermore, he represents individuals in German extradition proceedings and also in complaints against Red Notices at the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files (CCF).

Since 2017 lecturer at the Institute for Criminal Sciences and Philosophy of Law at Goethe University Frankfurt.

Representation of individuals in various criminal proceedings regarding alleged violations of sanctions and embargos with respect to Iran and Russia.
